These special events include a variety of conferences that relate to the Teaching WoW windows opened by Teaching WoW members.
eaching WoW is the sharing of our passions and lives by using Window theory to look through and see and share about varied lifestyles around the world. Teaching WoW is not just 1 window through, it's a multitude of windows that can only truly come alive with the help of all of us working together to share the things we love! Teaching WoW Series Special Event Programs Include:
Students will compare natural and handmade patterns in their environment with similar patterns in Alaska through digital photography and mathematics. Students will also investigate concepts of scientific understanding regarding function and form as well as emotional/ artistic impressions.

Global Warming
Global Warming is now an everyday conversation, or really an extension of sharing about the weather. Join us for this in depth scientific and political look at Global Warming from the perspective of an Alaskan and what future trends we may start to see.

Alaskan Lifestsyles: Join us for a revolving monthly program, which explores a different Alaskan Lifestyle. Each month Kigluait will invite an Alaskan into the VTC’s conferencing center to allow students to investigate, interview and/ or discuss the varied and unique lifestyles of an Alaskan such as Bush Air Pilot, Alaskan Artist, North Slope Pipeline Worker, Sourdough Musician, Alaskan Gold Miner, and an Alaskan Biologist.
